ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Corey Foltz. I am a third-year student at the University of Cincinnati, and I'm currently pursuing a B.S. in Neuroscience with a Chemistry minor! I grew up right across the river in Northern Kentucky along with my older sister, older brother, and twin brother (who ironically happens to be my polar opposite).
After my undergraduate education, I would eventually like to pursue a Ph.D in neuroscience and go into biomedical research as a career; I'm particularly interested in the topics of sensory pathways and disorders.

As a very analytical and academic person, I like to share my knowledge with others in any way I can. I'm currently an ambassador for the University Honors Program, and I'm the Treasurer and Events Committee Chair for the Undergraduate Research Society -- a network of students helping to promote research involvement across campus! I also serve as a Peer Leader for the Learning Commons, where I'm currently mentoring a group of 16 first-year neuroscience students.

When I'm not in classes or extracurriculars, you can usually find me hanging out with my friends. We have a collective UC bucket list of places to visit before we graduate, like Mammoth Cave, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the American Sign Museum!

I love to express myself creatively through whatever ways I can, including art and writing. Coming out of UC, I hope to cultivate both my academic and leadership skills and direct those into tools for personal growth.
